take suburban co-working for a test drive!
once a month, the zen bungalow officially sets aside a day to welcome consultants, freelancers, entrepreneurs and location independent small business owners to try us out -- risk free.
so bring your laptop and get some work done in our shared space. if you're interested, we might grab lunch together at the bistro downstairs (or some other local eatery), but the point is to experience the bungalow and the zen-like business clarity it can bring to your workday. though our co-working days are free, we ask you to register at least 24 hours ahead -- space is limited.
what is co-working?
co-working is the gathering of a group of people who work independently, yet value the social and professional interaction of other talented people. lots of different people value co-working, but to be fair it's not for everybody. if you thrive with social interaction, like being around creative and helpful people, like being helpful to others yourself, and can work remotely with WiFi and a laptop, then you should try us out!
what are the facilities like?
- a light, spacious work area with desks and tables from which you can choose to work.
- high-speed wireless internet
- unlimited tea & coffee (well, within reason) plus a microwave
- a whiteboard on which to doodle and map out your ideas
- a private conference room
can people talk on the phone?
if you need to be on the phone all the time, then our co-working space is probably not for you... though a part-time membership might be the way to go (where you can schedule most of your phone time to take place outside the space, and be wildly productive when you're working with us)
